Some of you already heard, but the results of Jeff's MRI on Tuesday were not good. His tumor has not been affected by the treatments and has grown again...the doctor told us there is really no other treatment they can offer...when I asked the doctor how long Jeff had he estimated 2 months.
I expected bad news because Jeff has been getting more confused in the last week or so, but when they tell you point blank like that it is numbing!!!
The doctor has referred us to a hospice in our area, they will come to our house and do an assessment and then decide how often they need to send someone to take care of him, so that is our next step. Thankfully Jeff is in no pain and he shouldn't have much except headaches once in awhile.
Please pray for Andrew, Zack & Dalaynee, they are all having an understandably tough time with this (and also me). Pray for wisdom for me in decisions that will have to be made in the next couple of months, Pray for God's comfort and peace for all of us.
Thank you for walking with our family through this journey for the last year...please continue to keep us lifted up throughout the next year.
Blessing to all of you!
Jayne

I never know how my heart will feel from day to day but it desperately aches today. Nevertheless, I am not ashamed for I know in whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day (II Timothy 1:12). We love you.
Jayne,
This is such sad news. We continue to pray for healing. The Cancer Treatment Center had suggested tomotherapy gamma knife treatments.
From your post it sounded like a good option and the doctor believed he could help Jeff. Is this something to consider prior to hospice?
Jayne,
Mike and I were reminiscing this week about when we were there last year to visit, and how we got to spend what really became Jeff's last carefree weekend with you all. We remembered that when we left for home, we both remarked that if we lived closer to you guys, we could see us becoming close friends, because we really enjoyed our time together. While we are brokenhearted that God's plan seems to be other than our own, we are so thankful that we were blessed to share a wonderful time and have some wonderful memories with Jeff. I'll never forget our crazy tour of the Queen Mary! :) We love you both very much, and are in constant prayer for your family.
As I said in my email to you guys...we are still walking with you in prayer!! We love you guys!
Kathy

Jayne and family,
Such sad news. We will keep you all in prayer and hope that whatever comes, good memories will be made for the kids and yourself in spite of it all. As long as we are remembered we all live on.

Hello Jayne. In reading your update, you take us there. We feel you , we feel your hurt, and your fight and now we feel your constant surrender to our Lord. It is, very much like "church" when you update us. What a submissive attitude you have towards Christ. For you to hold your own hurts aside, and your own worries... - well to be honest with you, you have shown such positive updates, regardless of the level of healing Jeff and you face. -
I cannot really remember when you had spent more than a second explaining your reality of it all in which you spent alot of time on you. I do know, that is because you keep doing this 'afraid' and you simply , whole heartedly- press on.
Jayne Yes! you got it, you have my prayer support on your decisions over the next few months. And, like church gave us today, - we have a 'surprising' Lord.
I have seen those surprises , come from you. The one who still honors her husband and I see your love for another. I see you reveal the doctors coments to us, and its like those are just not as near as bright as the light I see in your total respect for your family, your heart so full of joy when ever I see you . You always, smile. Even when its not the best of news, you have this wonderful smile embeded in your heart, and you happen to wear it when you may not know it.
Regardless of the outcome you now have, we are to never cease for asking for the miracle God can so wonderfully perform for your beautiful family. Today we lifted you all up in prayer at mini church and we commend you and your spirit , in which we see our Lord with you all.
You are his daughter, and you can count on God to keep holding your hand and walking next to you. Both of you. And of course all your children along side , to be right there -with our Lord leading you ...... must give you incredible hope and endurance.
It is an honor to know you , myh friend. You are a beautiful girl.
Continue to shine- and you all have our support in many ways, even if we do not see you.
Prayer is a gift of love we can all give you.
Thank you , for your encouraging website. It takes us there, to learn about you and your openess only shows us a heart so true to her family and our Lord.
Sincerely,
Shirley dean-lopez

Jayne, I have been keeping you all in prayer throughout this ordeal and I thought of you all yesterday, I was discussing with Davin who he was going to choose as his adopter (he's becoming a partner in mission at church) and when he asked me who my adopters were I said you and jeff.:) My heart aches for you , yet I know that in everything God is glorified. Much Love and Many blessings, Penny
Jeff, Jayne and family, continually thinking of you guys and praying for strength and wisdom!

Jayne,
Please don't hesitate to call or email if you need help with anything, Gary, and I are here for you if you need us.
I wont even say that I even begin to understand what you are going through, because no one that hasn't walked in your shoes could ever understand. But just know that out prayers are with you. I pray that you feel God's warm embrace, and that God takes all of the worry, and heartache from you.
Give Daylanee a great big hug.
We love you!
Gary, Deb, and Jessica
