Not good news

Hello all,

We received the results of Jeff's recent MRI and it shows more tumor growth, which means that the treatments he is currently having did not work. We are waiting to hear from the doctor at Cedar Sinai if there are clinical trials available that Jeff would qualify for (we have an appointment with him on Tuesday)...and more than that we wait on the Lord!!!! The doctor said without treatment Jeff would probably live less than 1 year and if we find a trial that will work, maybe more than 1 year, but probably not 5 years. We are in shock and sad, but very much trusting God...Pastor Harold at our church just reminded us that absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of God and that is soooo true. Please continue to pray for strength, comfort, joy in each day & direction.

God's peace be with you all!

Jeff and Jayne,
That's hard news to take. Were so sorry you guys are having to go through this. Hold on tight to GOD!
He is the almighty and the ultimate decision maker. Just know...if it helps that we are all praying hard for complete healing, and for strength.

Hi guys -
It is comforting to be a part of the family of God...and yet we have questions. I know you are relying on His strength and the prayers of many! We are thinking of you always and praying daily for continued strength. What a beautiful family picture!!

Hello Jayne, thank you for giving us all of your updates- just as they are, so we can know your pain and hurts and so we can carry you in prayer. You have had heaviness of all this and now its bigger than one sister in Christ can handle. I will keep you Jeff and Laney in prayer as I work tomorrow , all day - in my day. I feel honored to know you , to learn more about you and your family, and I am truly amazed of all the beauty you represent ...during such a hard time of need. For your willing heart- I will pray for renewing, for your mornings to start the day -I will pray for the Armor of salvation to be embroidered upon on your soul as you may be growing weary. For your home I will pray for angels , everywhere protecting any fear from entering this house of God. Anyone who has been reading your blog ,we can clearly see- one strong women of faith. 3/3/08Shirley Dean-Lopez

In a vast and dry desert, God told Noah to build a boat. Daniel was thrown into a pit of hungry, human-eating lions. Paul was prisoned for years just for preaching good new. You know what each of these men had in common? The ability to put on their God goggles. Their situation was unfair, unwarranted, undeserving and, frankly, scary as heck! But they had the ability to live out Proverbs 3:5, not seeing their situation from their earthly vision but their eternal vision – God goggles.

My prayer for you both is that God provide you the biggest, grandest, clearest set of God goggles for this week and beyond! Can’t wait to see what exciting things God has in store for your lives!

Love ya
